Product Description

A leg of lamb from our North Yorkshire farm with the bone removed and rolled and tied to make it simple to carve.

One of the most popular cuts amongst our lamb fans and perfect for a Sunday roast.

Will keep in the fridge up to five days.
Allow the meat to dry for an hour before cooking, if possible, by covering loosely in the bottom of the fridge.

Internal temperature at thickest point: rare 60c, medium 65c, well-done 75c

Roasting
Preheat oven to 200c/gas 6
Roast for 25 min per 450g and rest for 5-10 min per 450g.

Braising/Stewing
Brown the joint on all sides in a heavy based frying pan.
Add your chosen cooking liquid cook in the oven for 3-4 hours at 180c.

Barbeque
Preheat barbeque to 200c.
Roast on indirect heat for 25 min per 450g and rest for 5-10 min per 450g.
